Early Winter Season has arrived (hemanta) and it's a great season for the body as there is a natural support to vata, pitta, kapha dosha (dosha - faulty function) and an inherent brightening of the digestive strength (agni).
The Early Winter supports ridding the body of any accumulations of Pitta dosha that the seasonal routines (rtucharya) didn't balance out and the seasonal routines for Early Winter of increasing food and exercise and doing oil massage and getting as much sunlight as you can help to remedy Vata dosha. Both of these dosha are helped by Early Winter's qualities of heavy, smoothing and slow from Nature's Earth and Water Elements (Kapha = to nourish).
