Journaling the Road Less Travelled
What are you thinking about when you don't even know that you are thinking?
Our unconscious is not benign. It lends to our nervous disposition (Vkrti/Symptoms of Imbalance) and it informs how we feel and what we do next.
Using the subject of Yama/Niyama from Yoga as a shadow-work journaling start point is a way to get to the heart of the matter. When we break, fall, disconnect and within the spaces of our most profound hurts we often find the subject matter of Yama/Niyama.
This 35 day journaling practice sends your mind on a journey less travelled using the Five Elements as your inner guide. Along the way you can stop for nourishment and rest using Ayurvedic techniques to bolster and protect each Element (Ether, Wind, Fire, Water, Earth) and a daily Yoga pose to keep your mind grounded, present and awake.
I used this process for my own journey out of chronic pain and chronic stress back to wellness and my wish is to give any suggestions and support for you to be able to do the same.
